Come to my place! I would love to share my home/studio with you. The workshop fee includes all materials, tools, lunch, and beverages. Lunch is usually artist-made soup and salad with many of the ingredients grown right here. A vegetarian option will be available. I will provide coffee and water. Feel free to bring your own specific beverages to keep yourself hydrated and comfortable. Advance payment is required at the time of registration.

Join us on Friday, Dec 1, for a small group workshop where you can creatively explore the natural inspiration of birch trees. Learn to paint with oil paints, cold wax, and painting knives using impasto (direct painting wet onto wet). Discover the joy of painting these iconic trees and you will take home a completed piece to hang in your home.

Join us on Saturday, Dec 2, for a small group workshop where you can express your creativity through the interpretation of a simple bird nest. Learn to paint with oil paints, cold wax, and painting knives using impasto (direct painting wet onto wet). Bird nests are wonderful structures that make the perfect subject to explore color and texture. They truly make for one of the best exercises to learn to paint with painting knives. Make your nest empty or full. Subject matter will be provided. Feel free to bring your own photo/print inspiration. Students will take home a completed piece.
