Meet a new member to the herd. Her name is Mary Temple Grandin. She was named by my daughter, Jillian, who recently ready about Temple Grandin in the book Brazen(a collection of rebel ladies who rocked the world). She was born in 1947 and is still teaching at Colorado State University. She is most famous for her groundbreaking work in the humane treatment of livestock for slaughter.
